Technical Junior Chemist

Position: Technical Junior Chemist Role
Join Air Boss Rubber Compounding as a Technical Junior Chemist in Kitchener, Ontario, where you'll oversee formulations and collaborate on innovative compound developments. Work closely with both Segment and R&D teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

This role at Air Boss involves entering compound formulations into systems, developing new products, and troubleshooting issues alongside experienced chemists. You will be a vital resource for all segments and ensure compliance with safety regulations while fostering strong communication and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create formulations from requirements given by customers

• Document recipes in the ERP system comprehensively

• Participate in trial mixing and production processes

• Collaborate with Purchasing to find raw material solutions

• Support lab studies by preparing insightful reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education

• Three years of related industry experience

• Rubber industry experience preferred

• Strong team collaboration and problem-solving skills

• Ability to adapt in fast-paced changes
