Contribute to military readiness as a Meteorological Technician. Analyze and forecast weather for the Royal Canadian Armed Forces across various operational settings.
In this role, you will conduct surface and atmospheric observations, utilizing specialized equipment to support RCAF, RCN, and Army operations. This position includes a mix of active fieldwork and office duties, with opportunities for advanced training and specialization. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor surface, marine, and atmospheric weather conditions
• Interpret and analyze meteorological data for decision-making
• Maintain high-tech weather instruments and systems
• Offer detailed briefings on current weather scenarios
• Forecast adverse weather conditions affecting operations
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 11 education or equivalent qualifications
• No previous career experience required
• Effective completion of military training courses
• Flexibility for shift work and field assignments
