GFL seeks a dedicated Apprentice Mechanic for a permanent full-time position with opportunities for overtime and advancement. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing vehicle systems, and providing effective service calls for breakdowns. You will also be working in compliance with safety procedures while assisting other apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and repairs on vehicles

• Utilize fleet maintenance software to document repairs

• Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

• Guide and mentor other apprentices in their development

Requirements:

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach License

• Own tools required for maintenance tasks

• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred

• Valid “G” driver’s license necessary

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
