Mobile Licensed Mechanic

Licensed Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic – Braslau, Ontario

Job Type: Permanent (Full-time)

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures and always acting in a safe manner.
• Completing and following requirements of field level hazard and job hazard assessments.
• Performing thorough inspections of equipment and identifying required repairs.
• Working independently on customer sites often.
• Performing routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Inspecting and diagnosing components and equipment for servicing needs.
• Completing repair orders.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.
• Communicating equipment servicing needs as required with supervisor.
• Completing warranty information.
• Disassembling, inspecting, fitting and replacing worn or broken parts.
• Carrying out housekeeping duties.
• Completing required documentation and daily Samsara logs in an accurate and timely manner.

• Licensed/Journeyman Truck and Coach Technician.
• 3+ years’ experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
• Experience working with hydraulics is an asset.
• Experience working on vacuum trucks is an asset.
• Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software.
• Class 5 Driver’s License required.
