Seasonal Laborer at Placer Gold Mine

Work seasonally at our family-owned Placer Gold Mine near Dawson City, Yukon as a Laborer. Safely lift 50 lbs and assist with various trades on-site while experiencing camp living.

This seasonal Laborer position, available until October 2026, requires candidates keen to learn new skills. You will collaborate with Heavy Duty Mechanics, Welders, and Carpenters on different projects, enhancing your practical abilities. This role also involves loading trucks, cleaning work areas, and conducting equipment checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials for office and trade workers

• Assist Heavy Duty Mechanics and Carpenters as instructed

• Clean and organize various work sites throughout the mine

• Help fuel and check fluids on heavy machinery

• Transport parts between different mine locations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 License for driving

• Willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge

• Previous trade experience is advantageous

Contribute to diverse trades at our Placer Gold Mine while you gain hands-on experience in Dawson City through this Laborer role.
