Step into a rewarding Electrician role at Maple Lodge Farms. Located in Brampton, ON, this contract position blends electrical maintenance with the opportunity to support Canada's leading chicken processor.
As part of a dynamic team, you will operate under the Electrician Manager and engage in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs within a food processing environment. This position needs a skilled individual with two years of experience, focusing on electrical systems, PLC, and automation technologies. Guiding Apprentice Electricians will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on all production equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
• Maintain and inspect electrical control systems
• Support and train Apprentice Electricians
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Licensed Electrician (442A or 309)
• Proficient in reading schematics and electrical codes
• Knowledge of food safety regulations in processing
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
