Location: Stratford
Start your career with Johnson Electric as a Millwright Apprentice in Stratford, ON. This position focuses on hands-on experience in installing and repairing industrial machinery on-site.
Ideal for aspiring tradespeople, the role offers training in reading technical drawings and operating industrial tools. Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting while following strict safety standards. Work shifts will be scheduled for either straight afternoons or nights, supporting your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, inspect, and repair industrial machinery
• Interpret engineering diagrams and schematics
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
• Operate lifting and hoisting tools safely
• Maintain cleanliness in the maintenance shop
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Enrollment in a Millwright apprenticeship program
• Commitment to completing internal training
• Basic mechanical systems knowledge
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
