310T Mechanic

Position: 310T Mechanic Role at Elliott Coach Lines
Location: Elmira

Elliott Coach Lines is looking for a dedicated 310T Mechanic for our Elmira shop. This position involves both preventative and post-incident vehicle repairs for our commercial fleet.

As a 310T Mechanic, you will report to the Shop Foreman, addressing mechanical issues in School Buses and other vehicles. You'll ensure all inspections are conducted timely and be responsible for maintaining safety compliance. Apprentices are welcome to apply, and a strong emphasis on customer service while interacting with various teams is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular Brake and Safety Inspections

• Complete necessary service calls and cold starts

• Ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety policies

• Document problems and repairs through reports

• Diagnose mechanical issues and consult with supervisors

Requirements:

• Valid 310T License in good standing required

• Valid Driver’s License necessary

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations is essential

• Previous experience in preventative maintenance preferred

• Collaborative working attitude in a team environment
