Support reliable municipal services from North Perth’s Wastewater Treatment Plant through water operations, wastewater systems, and utility supervision.
The Utility Foreperson oversees day-to-day operations and maintenance for the Municipality of North Perth. This role supervises water supply and distribution alongside wastewater treatment and collection systems. Daily travel throughout the municipality and varied outdoor or industrial conditions are part of the position.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement efficient utility work activities
- Supervise water supply and distribution operations
- Participate in wastewater treatment system maintenance
- Travel daily throughout the municipality as required
- Respond to emergency operational demands and critical situations
- Five years of related professional experience
- Water and wastewater operator licensing combination specified
- Strong safe laboratory practices knowledge
- Knowledge of current MECP regulations and service levels
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
