Your role will support the community's infrastructure development.

As a leader within the Utilities Department, you will manage the maintenance, repair, and expansion services for municipal utility systems. Working alongside the Director of Operations, you will direct crew activities, uphold safety standards, and maintain detailed records. Your leadership is crucial in guiding Kitimat's ongoing infrastructure upgrades in response to community growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate crew activities and schedules

• Manage excavation and installation of utilities

• Ensure safety practices are strictly followed

• Document project reports and prepare budgets

• Utilize SCADA for system monitoring and status updates

Requirements:

• Environmental Operators Certification in Water and Wastewater

• Class 3 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement

• Strong communication and supervisory skills

• Certifications in WHMIS and related safety training

• Ability to budget and schedule department tasks
