yáqʷa Development Corporation seeks a strategic Chief Executive Officer to lead during a transformative growth phase. This hybrid role is ideal for an executive committed to Indigenous thought and sustainable practices.

As the most senior leader at yáqʷa, your responsibility is ensuring effective governance while enhancing corporate performance. You’ll partner with the Board, overseeing daily operations and developing a diversified portfolio for the organization. A strong background in building and scaling operations is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the organization to achieve sustainability and growth

• Design the executive leadership model for the future

• Manage existing operational challenges and innovations

• Cultivate partnerships for Indigenous economic development

• Guide the Cedar LNG Project and other ventures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and/or MBA preferred

• 15+ years of executive leadership in related fields

• Proven track record in government relations

• Strong expertise in corporate governance

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
