Drive environmental monitoring initiatives as an Environmental Technician focused on water quality analysis for a leading client. This role centers on accurate data collection and compliance reporting.
The Environmental Technician will play a crucial role in supporting water monitoring efforts and documenting data related to the Stockpile Pond's TSS Control Improvement Project. Your expertise in measuring environmental parameters and communicating results will enhance project effectiveness. Candidates with a background in environmental science and field monitoring will thrive in this dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field data collection and monitoring
• Track turbidity and TSS for improvement assessments
• Provide timely updates and reports on project status
• Execute environmental monitoring across various sites
• Measure key water quality parameters accurately
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience in environmental monitoring is preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Familiarity with water quality indicators an asset
• Detail-oriented with strong spreadsheet skills
