Mining Blasters - LOA + Camp - Up to $40.32/hr - Kikimat BC

Ledcor is seeking experienced Blasters to join their teams on remote mining and civil projects across Canada. These full-time roles offer steady, long-term work with opportunities for skill development and advancement. Successful candidates will lead blast crews, ensure safe and efficient operations, and contribute to a supportive, safety-focused workplace culture.

• Competitive wages: $38.00 - $40.32 per hour

• Valid Newfoundland & Labrador Blaster’s Certificate or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in surface mining or quarry blasting operations
• Strong knowledge of blast loading, tie-ins, and initiation systems or willingness to learn
• Ability to read and execute blast plans and loading instructions
• Commitment to safety and ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on uneven terrain
• Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to work up to 12 hour rotating day/night shifts in all weather conditions
