Ledcor is hiring Heavy Equipment Mechanics for upcoming major construction projects across Canada. Skilled tradespersons are sought with passion for equipment reliability, safety, and quality workmanship.

• Safe & cost‑effective maintenance of heavy mobile equipment
• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and support equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and site requirements
• Conduct pre‑trip/walk‑around safety inspections and complete daily field‑level hazard assessments for all activities
• Complete maintenance reporting and other documentation as required
• Collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
• Lead both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

• 3+ years previous experience preferred
• Journeyperson certification from a recognized training authority
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must successfully complete pre‑access drug and alcohol testing
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clear 3‑year driver abstract
• Experience with equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, and Hitachi
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Ability to work rotations, shifts, and overtime
