Primary Function

The individual will perform as a Site Supervisor or Quality Control Manager, primarily on Army client projects. Depending on project size, the candidate will serve as either the Site Supervisor or the Quality Control Manager.

Site Supervisor Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, working with project teams—including Corporate Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foreman, Field Personnel, and other office departments—to deliver successful projects on time, on budget, and with high quality.

Quality Control Manager Responsibilities

The QCM identifies inventory and order quality, recommends operational process improvements, conducts random sampling, and prepares quality control documents. The QCM ensures compliance with design documents through field inspections and reviews.

Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule.
  • Responsible for site safety and compliance with company safety policies.
  • Work with project teams to budget, forecast, and manage field personnel, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and cost considerations.
  • Prepare work plans and develop temporary facilities for the project.
  • Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer data to execute the project per documentation.
  • Manage the overall project and 3‑week look‑ahead schedules, including creating and updating the master schedule weekly.
  • Generate RFIs (Requests for Information) to ensure completeness of the project documents and clarify discrepancies.
  • Review submittals for compliance with project manual, plans, manufacturer recommendations, code, or other applicable standards.
  • Manage the company’s quality control program with the project team.
  • Conduct preconstruction planning and on‑site project meetings with subcontractors and construction trades lead personnel.
  • Manage subcontractors for all on‑site work and oversee site work and construction logistics.
  • Supervise work crews, mentor and train field personnel, manage foreman duties, and provide performance evaluations.
  • Ensure all personnel have resources and information to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Quality Control Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Act independently as CQC while coordinating all QC functions to avoid construction delays.
  • Read and understand specifications, reference codes, and standards.
  • Review and interpret contract drawings.
  • Review provisions for required control inspection and testing.
  • Prepare a QC submittal plan for the project.
  • Efficiently manage project submittals.
  • Verify all materials and equipment have been tested, submitted, and approved.
  • Examine the work area to ensure all required work is complete and complies with contract requirements.
  • Determine, communicate, and document deficiencies and ensure timely correction.
  • Communicate with clients and representatives clearly about status updates.
  • Conduct required meetings with all interested parties.
  • Perform daily checks to assure control activities, testing, and compliance; document all results.
  • Produce a daily report to be included in the project manager’s daily report.
  • Conduct all completion inspections—punch‑out, pre‑final, and final acceptance.
  • Maintain current records providing evidence that required QC activities and tests have been performed.
