The Kittery School District is currently seeking an Educational Technician II to work with 4–8th grade students in the Functional Lifeskills program who struggle with various functional challenges throughout their school day.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a current Maine Ed Tech certification and fingerprinting. Candidates must submit to a Criminal History Record Check through the Maine Department of Education.

Responsibilities- Support Special Education Teachers in implementing students' Individual Education Plans.
- Collect data and follow behavior support plans.
- Instruct students in various content areas as assigned.
- Work closely with 4–8th grade students with varying academic, developmental, and functional needs, including communication disorders.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups and occasionally assist with leading the class if the teacher steps away.
- Support students in all settings, including general education classrooms, fostering independence.
