The Educational Technician II works with 4th‑to‑8th‑grade students in the Functional Lifeskills program, supporting Special Education teachers and students to reach their goals.
- Support teachers in implementing students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collect data and monitor student progress
- Follow behavior support plans and manage classroom behavior
- Instruct students in assigned content areas
- Work 1:1 or in small groups as needed
- Assist with classroom instruction and step in when the teacher is absent for meetings
- Provide support in all settings, including general education classrooms
- Promote student independence as a top priority
- Current Maine Ed Tech certification
- Fingerprinting and successful Criminal History Record Check through the Maine Department of Education
- Completed Applitrack Application

- Three current letters of reference, dated, signed, and written within the last three years
