The Educational Technician II works with 4th‑to‑8th‑grade students in the Functional Lifeskills program, supporting Special Education teachers and students to reach their goals.

• Support teachers in implementing students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collect data and monitor student progress
• Follow behavior support plans and manage classroom behavior
• Instruct students in assigned content areas
• Work 1:1 or in small groups as needed
• Assist with classroom instruction and step in when the teacher is absent for meetings
• Provide support in all settings, including general education classrooms
• Promote student independence as a top priority

• Current Maine Ed Tech certification
• Fingerprinting and successful Criminal History Record Check through the Maine Department of Education

• Completed Applitrack Application

• Unofficial transcripts (official transcripts required upon job offer)
• Copy of current certification (if applicable)
• Three current letters of reference, dated, signed, and written within the last three years
