Position: ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC LEADER with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* You will set the pace and instruct employees on proper work procedures, use of tools, and safety pertaining to shop trade skills and shipboard electrical systems.
* You will relay supervisor's instructions to Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanics and apprentices in assigned work group.
* You will verify work is done in accordance with accepted procedures and/or instructions.
* You will answer questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions and other directives. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE, such as:
* Troubleshooting and repairing advanced electronic equipment to the component level.
* Giving appropriate skills training utilizing shop training tools, such as mock-ups, in-shop work areas or facilities.
* Using a wide variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, phase meters, tachometers, digital multi-meters and signal generators.
* Identifying and replacing faulty components including integrated circuits, resistors, transformers, inductors and other electrical and electronic devices.
* Reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, drawings, work orders, and process instructions.
