Job Description

CTR Group is seeking several Pipe fitters to support ship repair and outfitting projects at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fabricate, install, and repair shipboard piping systems including hydraulic, steam, and water lines
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand and power tools
• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of installed systems
• Work in confined spaces and aboard vessels in various stages of repair

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience as a Pipefitter or in shipyard piping systems preferred or equivalent military experience
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and pipe fabrication techniques
