CTR Group is seeking experienced Deck Tile Setters to support ship repair work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. Pay Rate: $25.52 per Hour with Benefits.

Job Summary:

The Deck Tile Setter will perform rip-out, repair, and installation of shipboard deck systems aboard U.S. Navy vessels. Work involves installing and finishing various decking materials and ensuring adherence to shipyard quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Remove, repair, and install deck coverings including linoleum, deck tile, ceramic tile, epoxy finishes, and ablative tiles. Perform surface preparation, material layout, adhesive selection, and finishing work. Operate trade tools and equipment such as cutters and epoxy mixing machines. Work safely within confined shipboard environments and follow all shipyard procedures. Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience performing deck resurfacing or installation on commercial or Navy ships/submarines. Must have hands-on experience with at least three (3) of the following materials (must be listed on the resume):
Linoleum Deck tile Ceramic tile Epoxy finishes Ablative tiles Must pass respirator fit test and medical screening. Active security clearance required.
