The Kittery School District is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist for our Special Services team. The role supports academic, emotional, and social growth of students through assessment, collaboration, and intervention.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments to determine student needs and eligibility for services.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop individualized supports and evidence‑based interventions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs.
- Support student mental health, behavioral interventions, and positive school climate initiatives.
- Provide consultation, training, and crisis response services to staff and students.
The ideal candidate will have experience with psycho educational testing, behavioral supports, evidence‑based interventions, and a strong understanding of special education law and the IEP process.
