Salary: Currently $53,683.89‑$99,647.38 (DOE), prorated based upon FTE.
Insurance: Generous Health, dental, and vision contribution from the district, currently up to $2,277 (based upon family coverage), prorated based upon FTE.
PERS Retirement: The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.

Schedule: 190 days + 3 days new teacher in‑service. Start date August 24, 2026.
Function: To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth and maturation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
- Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Prepare for classes assigned and provide written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate superior.
- Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.
- Implement district’s philosophy of education, instructional goals, and objectives through instruction and action.
- Take necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Evaluate student progress on a regular basis.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
- Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and Board policy.
- Be available to students and parents outside the instructional day as needed.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings.
- Cooperate with other staff in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- Assist in selecting books, equipment, and other instructional materials.
- Accept a share of responsibility for co‑curricular activities.
- Maintain open lines of communication with students and parents.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relations with others.
- Provide for own professional growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Valid teaching certificate; hold or qualify for an Oregon teaching license with the proper endorsement and be considered highly qualified by the Oregon Department of Education. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
