Position Summary
Oregon Tech invites applications for Sociology and Population Health Adjunct Instructors in the Humanities & Social Sciences Department for the upcoming 2022-23 academic year.
The department offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Population Health Management and Applied Psychology, among others. This position will support the Medical Sociology minor and Population Health Management program with coursework in Medical Sociology, Global Health, Research Methods, Current Health Issues, Program Planning, and/or Intro to Sociology.
Responsibilities- Teach courses within the department, including Medical Sociology, Global Health, Research Methods, Current Health Issues, Program Planning, and Intro to Sociology.
- Provide in‑person instruction on the Klamath Falls campus.
- Master’s Degree or higher in discipline or equivalent.
- Experience teaching.
- Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard).
- Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
