The University is accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach online sections of Globalization for the Humanities and Social Sciences Department. This pool will be accessed only when an opening or need arises. Your credentials will remain active for up to two years; after that you must reapply.
Application RequirementsSubmit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three references (phone & email). In your cover letter specify the areas or courses you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching.

- Master’s degree or higher in Anthropology, History, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field.
- Experience teaching at the college level.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time, permanent basis at the time of hire; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or other employment‑based immigration support.
- Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard).
- Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
Appointments may include online, in‑person on‑campus, hybrid, or alternative formats responsive to state and local requirements. Primary campus locations include Klamath Falls, Portland‑Metro (Wilsonville, OR), and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online within the United States.
