Mazama High School Special Education Teacher-Resource Room

Mazama High School is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and proactive Special Education Teacher for the Resource Room that will work with large caseloads. The Resource Room teacher is responsible for Reading Lab, Math Lab Supportive Studies, and other teaching responsibilities.

A teacher in the Klamath County School District has a responsibility to:

Guide the learning, interest, and activities of each student.

Be familiar with the laws relating to teachers and students, policies, rules, and regulations of the Klamath County School District Board and with the courses of study and curriculum guides adopted for the work of his/her respective teaching assignment.

Spend such time in addition to the regular day as may be needed to fulfill satisfactorily the responsibilities of lesson planning, student and parent conferences, faculty meetings, and other required tasks.

Position to begin in the 2026/2027 school year.

COMPENSATION:

• 190 day contract
• Family medical, dental and vision insurance
• 6% PERS paid by District
• $54,/Annual
