Position Overview
The Humanities and Social Sciences Department is recruiting adjunct instructors to teach online sections of Globalization and selected General Education courses.
Teaching ModalityCourses may be offered online, in‑person, hybrid, or in alternative formats responsive to state and local requirements.
LocationPrimary campus locations include Klamath Falls, Portland‑Metro (Wilsonville, OR), and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online within the United States.
ResponsibilitiesTeach the Globalization course and other General Education courses, develop and deliver course materials, conduct assessments, and maintain communication with students. Prepare syllabi, manage a learning management system, and provide academic support.
Additional Requirements- Master’s Degree or higher in Anthropology, History, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field.
- Experience teaching at the college level.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time, permanent basis at the time of hire.
- Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard).
- Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
- Cover letter specifying areas or courses you are qualified to offer.
