- Oregon Tech invites applications for Sociology and Population Health Adjunct Instructors for the Humanities and Social Sciences Department for the upcoming 2022-23 academic year. The Humanities and Social Sciences Department is a dynamic and growing department with a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. The department offers undergraduate degrees in Population Health Management and Applied Psychology, Graduate degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis and Marriage and Family Therapy, minors in Medical Sociology, Psychology, and Arts, Letters and Philosophy, and a diverse collection of courses in support of Oregon Tech's general education mission.

Position Summary
- This position will support our Medical Sociology minor and Population Health Management program with coursework in Medical Sociology, Global Health, Research Methods, Current Health Issues, Program Planning, and/or Intro to Sociology. Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as instructors for courses within the department. Candidates interested in adjunct teaching positions should apply online and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three references with contact information.
In your cover letter, please specify those areas or courses that you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching. This position will be in person on our Klamath Falls campus. This pool will be accessed only when an opening or need arises as early as September 2022. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years.
After two years, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool.

- Master's Degree or higher in discipline or equivalent Experience teaching
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard) Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams
