Position Overview
The Humanities and Social Sciences Department at Oregon Institute of Technology offers undergraduate degrees in Applied Psychology and Population Health Management, graduate degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis and Marriage and Family Therapy, and minors in Arts, Letters and Philosophy, Medical Sociology, and Psychology. We are recruiting a pool of qualified candidates for part‑time adjunct teaching positions in our Applied Psychology program.
Candidates may be invited to teach courses within the department. The pool will be accessed when an opening or need arises; credentials remain active up to two years.
The appointment may include courses offered online, in person on campus, hybrid, or in clinic or lab settings as required by state and local regulations. Primary campus locations are Klamath Falls, OR;
Wilsonville, OR; and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely or online.
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or equivalent.
- Experience teaching.
- Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard).
- Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
