The start date of this position will be July 1, 2026. This is a 225 day contract.

Rate of Pay: $118,195-$137,139 DOE

Position funded through the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) grant. Temporary, grant-funded position.

Insurance: Generous Health, dental, and vision contribution from the district, currently up to $2,179 (based upon family coverage), TBD for .

PERS Retirement: The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.

Retiree Benefits: An administrator who retires from KFCS and from PERS, with at least ten consecutive years of experience as an administrator in the district immediately prior to retirement, will receive the following retirement benefits:
One percent (1%) of the administrator's final base salary per month for a total of 84 months. Medical insurance premiums for the administrator and spouse (if necessary) for a total of 84 months. When an administrator retires, the District shall contribute up to the employee only cap or the employee-spouse cap. Should the district contribution be insufficient to pay for the monthly cost of the insurance, then the parties agree that the excess insurance premium contribution will be made by the retiree.

Reports To: Principal and District CTE Coordinator

Position Summary

Klamath Union High School is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Project Administrator to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing coordination of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in Health Occupations and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) grant.

This position will build and manage comprehensive healthcare pathways that bridge high school coursework with postsecondary education, industry certifications, and workforce opportunities. The Project Administrator will work closely with Sky Lakes, Klamath Community College (KCC), EMS agencies, and community partners to create real‑world learning experiences that prepare students for high‑demand careers in healthcare.

The Project Administrator plays a critical role in connecting education, healthcare, and workforce systems to ensure all students have access to meaningful, career-connected learning experiences and clear postsecondary pathways.

Key Responsibilities CTE Program Development & Implementation
  • Lead the design, development, and coordination of CTE programs in Health Occupations and EMS aligned with state CTE standards.
  • Develop program structures, course sequences, and work‑based learning opportunities across multiple healthcare pathways.
  • Coordinate implementation of RHTP grant goals, timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor program outcomes and support continuous improvement efforts.
Pathway & Workforce Alignment
  • Build and maintain seamless pathways from KUHS to postsecondary healthcare and EMS programs.
  • Coordinate dual credit, certification opportunities (e.g., CPR/First Aid, EMR/EMT), and articulation agreements.
  • Align programs with regional workforce needs and industry standards.
  • Support students in earning industry‑recognized credentials and accessing career opportunities.
Partnerships & Collaboration
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with Sky Lakes, KCC, EMS agencies, fire departments, and community organizations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between KUHS, Sky Lakes, and KCC.
  • Coordinate guest speakers, job shadowing, internships, clinical experiences, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with CTE teachers, counselors, and administrators to support program alignment and student success.
Supervision & Evaluation
  • Supervise and evaluate the KUHS CTE teachers.
