Purpose:


Klamath Falls City Schools is seeking organized, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to serve as Copy Clerks – Instructional Support at schools implementing enhanced instructional support systems.

The Copy Clerk plays a critical role in supporting teachers and school staff by ensuring instructional materials, classroom supplies, and daily preparation tasks are completed efficiently and consistently. This position is specifically designed to reduce operational burdens on teachers so they can focus their time and energy on planning and delivering high-quality instruction for
students. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail,
professionalism, and a commitment to supporting positive school environments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Basic technology and office equipment skills required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must meet all district employment requirements

Performance Responsibilities:

Instructional Material Preparation

  • Prepare, organize, and distribute instructional materials for teachers and staff
  • Complete copying, printing, laminating, cutting, collating, and assembly of classroom materials
  • Ensure instructional materials are prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner
  • Support teachers in maintaining readiness for daily instruction

Classroom & Operational Support

  • Assist with classroom preparation and organizational systems
  • Help ensure classrooms and instructional spaces are supplied and ready for student learning
  • Maintain organization of copy rooms, supply areas, and instructional materials
  • Support systems that maximize instructional readiness and minimize interruptions during the school day

Inventory & Supply Coordination

  • Monitor inventory levels of paper, toner, laminating materials, and classroom supplies
  • Assist with organizing and distributing school materials and resources
  • Communicate supply needs to administrators or office staff

Staff Support & Collaboration

  • Provide positive, responsive support to teachers and school staff
  • Assist staff with operation of copiers and instructional equipment as needed
  • Work collaboratively with office staff, administrators, and instructional teams
  • Support school wide systems and routines that improve efficiency and organization
