- The Klamath Falls campus offers two housing facilities to allow students to stay on campus as they study, which comes with a host of perks. Position Summary
- Oregon Tech Housing and Residence Life is seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) to join the Housing and Residence Life team. The RLC serves as a key member of the Residence Life team in support of the mission, vision and values of the Housing and Residence Life department and Oregon Tech. This employee works closely with the Lead Residence Life Coordinator, student staff, and residential students daily.

The work includes developing community within all housing facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residential students as well as the campus community, families and guests who interact with Housing and Residence Life. The RLC also supports and participates in Housing and Residence Life sponsored and supported programming in support of student learning initiatives. This position supervises the First Year Experience (FYE) student staff as well as the Student Success Mentor (SSM) staff team, reporting to the Assistant Director of Residence Life.

This position works Monday through Friday as well as some evenings and weekends. The RLC also serves in the on-call rotation to respond to Housing and Residence Life related emergency/crisis needs after hours and on weekends. A willingness and desire to work with students as they live and learn in a residential setting is essential as well as a strong work ethic to ensure the student experience while on campus and at Oregon Tech is one filled with positive learning experiences in a safe and inclusive environment.

The RLC is a live in position, with a fully furnished apartment and Meal Plan 3 included in the compensation.

Minimum Requirements

Additional Requirements
- The RLC must have an earned bachelor's degree, and with experience working with a housing and residence life department (as a student or professional staff) A high level of knowledge working in the Microsoft suite of programs is essential. The RLC must possess quality time management skills and work with integrity. Must reside in university-provided on-campus housing for the duration of employment in this position.

The successful candidate must be able to maintain an on-campus residence and be available to respond to position-related responsibilities outside of regular business hours, as required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising student staff preferred, especially if supervision involved working with a college student population.
