Project Controller – Leidos Power Delivery Solutions
Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Controller to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will support a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwestern United States. This in‑office role is based out of Portland, Bend, or Medford, Oregon, depending on the selected candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, monitor and maintain engineering and construction project budgets for public‑owned and investor‑owned electric utilities.
- Work with Project Management teams using earned value management techniques to align forecasts and costs, including recovery plans to stay within approved limits.
- Partner closely with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Managers and other client stakeholders to track and execute client deliverables.
- Support project teams with material tracking.
- Develop and produce weekly/monthly project control reports for client and internal management review, including resource loading analysis, schedules, critical path items and risk analysis.
- Interface directly with the client daily to report progress, schedule and risks across a portfolio of electric utility projects.
- Assist project managers with the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project dashboard reports and KPI tracking.
- Review, interpret, and provide inputs to project schedules and identify risks.
- Mid‑Level: 4–7 years of project controls experience.
- Senior‑Level: 7–10 years of project controls experience (pay ranges commensurate with candidate experience).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing and reporting project financial performance, budgets and cost controls.
- Capability to plan, organize, direct and track technical efforts on project tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with customer representatives.
- Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills and the ability to multi‑task effectively.
- Familiarity with electric power infrastructure projects and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services.
- Experience working with U.S. electric utilities.
- Demonstrated success with a team approach to consulting.
Pay Range: $82,550.00 – $.
