Hydrologic Investigations

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead complex hydrologic investigations from planning through analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Conduct advanced hydrologic and water resource analyses to support management and regulatory decisions.
  • Serve as the area office hydrology subject matter expert on water policy, regulations, and water rights.
  • Develop project plans, technical reports, and recommendations while coordinating with internal and external partners
  • Oversee data collection, modeling, and stakeholder collaboration to inform water resource management.
  • Participate in meetings and other outreach efforts with stakeholders on major efforts such as ESA consultation, project supply, flood control, fish or bird disease outbreaks, and operational modifications.
