The National Health Service Core (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed by accredited sites.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Salary: $23.56 - $29.45 DOE

About the Role

The Aid and Assist Case Manager works directly with individuals in pretrial status facing criminal charges. The court has determined these individuals lack the mental fitness to aid & assist in their own legal defense. The court refers individuals to KBBH for community restoration consults, which could result in hospital-level of care placement with the Oregon State Hospital (OSH). Individuals can also be restored locally through KBBH wrap-around services.

If sent to OSH, individuals are either “found able” or “unable” to proceed. The Aid & Assist Case Manager remains involved throughout the duration of these legal proceedings.

Aid & Assist Case Manager is responsible for the delivery of direct clinical services to clients at the Klamath County Jail, Klamath Community Corrections Center, and in the community. Direct clinical services may include, legal skills, case management, skills building attending OSH meetings, and other duties as assigned. This position functions as the liaison between Oregon State Hospital, the legal system, and KBBH.
