Description

The Administrative Support Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management through the direct oversight of the Administrative Support Team. The manager will ensure the Administrative Support team is highly effective in their collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently fulfill Sage Credit Union's mission in a compliant manner while delivering a Sage Experience to our members.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead department staff to achieve their fullest potential through growth and development conversations and training, and active participation in Sage Credit Union's efforts to fulfill its' mission.
  • Leads the team in collaboratively working with stakeholders to ensure the implementation of efficient, effective, and compliant procedures and processes that are in alignment with board policy.
  • Oversee and support the daily functions of staff to ensure tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner.
  • Recommend Board Policy updates in a timely manner as legal and regulatory changes occur.
  • Oversee the joint effort of all Administrative Support staff to maintain the Credit Union's compliance program including risk assessments.
  • Maintain the Administrative Support department's compliance oversite and ensures disclosures associated with the Credit Union's products and services are accurate and complete, including but not limited to forms and advertisements.
  • Serve on and assign Administrative Support team members to serve on and contribute to various project teams to ensure successful outcomes for our members and communities.
  • Disseminate compliance information, answer compliance questions, and serve as the subject matter expert for compliance issues.
  • Interface with internal/external auditors and examiners on compliance related reviews
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 5-10 years of financial services or related experience preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree or comparable professional training
  • Ability to train, motivate, and influence people as part of a team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong ability to successfully work under a growth goal and incentive environment to meet branch objectives
  • Strong analytical, decision-making skills, making recommendations, solving complex problems
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Excellent computer skills

Physical Considerations

  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Stooping; kneeling; crouching; and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required.
  • Sitting – 80%; standing and walking - 20%.
  • Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required.

The good faith hourly salary range for this position is $62,000yr - $88,000yr. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, including bonafide factors, operational needs, and the finalized job description. The hourly salary may vary above or below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
