Discharge Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse​/Licensed Practical Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program:
Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sky Lakes Medical Center.

Required skills and experience: Proficiency in basic nursing skills, patient assessment, and documentation; knowledge of discharge planning processes and basic patient education techniques; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team; flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on discharge readiness. Must have acute care experience. Must be able to function during periods of stress, trauma and/or disease.

Shift & schedule requirements: EOW.

7 days maximum time off
