Director of Assisted Living (Sign on Bonus)

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm plus as needed/on call.

The Director of Assisted Living serves as a liaison with hospital personnel, physicians, community organizations and other health related service agencies to provide quality care to our assisted living residents. This role hires, trains, and manages a staff capable of providing superior care while maintaining residents' physical and emotional health and complying with federal, state, and local standards.

• Conduct and coordinate assessment programs for new residents and routinely re‑assess residents to ensure optimal care.
• Recruit, interview, hire, schedule, motivate, evaluate, and supervise department staff; maintain accurate timekeeping and meal break records.
• Oversee orientation and ongoing training, ensuring all care staff complete State‑required training and comprehensive competency programs in medication delivery, safety, documentation, and resident care.
• Perform administrative duties, including evaluations, forms, reports, resident records, assessments, and care profiles.
• Coordinate departmental staffing schedules, cover absences, and maintain inventory of care supplies.
• Manage prescription orders and medication administration, ensuring central storage, tracking, and delivery align with company guidelines and State regulations.
