Licensed Practical Nurse - Psychiatric

Role Overview: This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides clinical support within a psychiatric setting, working under supervision of a licensed medical professional. Key responsibilities include triage, basic health screenings, medication administration, client education, and coordination with healthcare providers and community resources.

• Conduct telephone and in-person triage and make clinical decisions within scope of practice.
• Implement individualized care plans and provide health screenings and in-home skills training for managing medical conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate care with primary care, specialists, and community resources.
• Participate in team trainings, provide client education, and maintain confidentiality.
• Respond to crises, document client interactions, and uphold ethical and professional standards.

• Licensed as an LPN or RN in Oregon with at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably with adults.
• Strong knowledge of mental health principles, client engagement, assessment, and crisis management.
• Effective communication, cultural competence, and self-care awareness.
• Valid Oregon driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to perform physical demands.
