Oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a team committed to excellence. Play a key role in supporting our mission to enable employment through opportunities for personal and professional growth, while committing to sustainable practices.

• Operate electronic cash register and handle cash, charge, and check/voucher transactions.
• Prepare cash drawers and related paperwork as assigned.
• Receive, prepare, sort, price, and rotate stock for the retail floor and conduct quality control.
• Operate department equipment and machinery, preparing goods for sale, procession, or storage.
• Perform inventories, tallies, or other tracking activities as required for the retail environment.
• Assist Good Works staff with the implementation of work plans and guidelines as established for client programs, as assigned by store manager.

• Speak and understand English sufficiently to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain the physical requirements of the working environment.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations.

• Experience that lends itself to good customer service is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a retail or comparable environment is preferred.
• Previous warehouse or comparable experience preferred.

• Medium physical demand level.
• Regularly sit and stand for prolonged periods; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• Walk and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 20 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally; push/pull and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Kneel, stoop, and bend frequently.
• Occasionally push heavy, wheeled carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment with loads up to 250 pounds.
• Require close vision.
• Work primarily indoors in a climate-controlled space; may occasionally perform work in outside weather conditions.
