Lead Fleet Mechanic - Bearcat Transportation, Klamath Falls

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Truck or Heavy Equipment Lead Mechanic!

• Mentor and train team members in the shop.
• Maintain and repair construction trucks and equipment, including hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding.
• May perform service repairs in the field.
• May have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of units from small fleet vehicles and class 8 trucks/trailers.
• Complete all paperwork that may be necessary.
• Must have own journeyman hand tools, but Bearcat Transportation does provide large tools and has a replacement policy.
• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Must have the ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, off shifts and weekends.

• Previous mechanical experience on class 8 trucks and trailers
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable
• Driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen
• Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members
