Pape' Kenworth, a premier medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic. You will work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 and 8 trucks, completing repairs accurately and timely. Your work supports customers by maximizing uptime and ensuring vehicles return to peak performance.

• Analyze and diagnose truck malfunctions or system failures; determine the best course of action to restore peak performance.
• Repair or rebuild cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, or air systems.
• Maintain and service trucks to ensure reliability, minimize downtime, and extend vehicle life.
• Deliver work that meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Work independently, using sound judgment and strong attention to detail.

• Three or more years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
• Basic computer knowledge;
  Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer-relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.
