The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.
Electrical Assembler II – Knightdale, NCAn Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub‑assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers.

7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Hourly Rate: $22.46
Note:
You will train at our Wendell NC facility for the first month before moving over to the Knightdale location.
- 1+ year of experience in electrical product assembly or a related assembly.
- 2+ years’ experience with commercial or industry wiring.
- 2+ years of experience using standard hand and power tools, including pneumatic and battery‑operated tools, wiring tools, and accurately reading a tape measure.
- Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Proficiency in reading and working with schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists with minimal supervision.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
- Possess some knowledge on electrical clearances.
- High School Diploma or Associate’s degree or technical training in area of responsibility.
- Proven record in Quality and Productivity.
- Performing sub‑assembly and final assembly wiring with high accuracy and workmanship, including proper stripping and crimping techniques.
- Working with large power cables, ensuring correct crimping methods, and assembling components on panels per layouts or drawings.
- Recording job transactions, reading BOMs, following layouts and assembly drawings.
- Setting and using torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking ways to improve.
- Adhering to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and being a strong team player.
- Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
