HVAC Install Mechanic

As a Residential Install Technician Level 1, you will play an essential role in assisting with HVAC installations for residential customers. This entry-level position provides the foundation for building your skills and growing within our installation team. Below are the key responsibilities and expectations of the position:

• HVAC Installation Support
  • Assist senior technicians and project managers with installing residential HVAC systems, including ductwork, ventilation, and equipment placement.
  • Perform basic installation tasks, such as securing equipment, setting up tools, and preparing the job site.
  • Follow detailed instructions to ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Customer Interaction
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with homeowners during installation projects.
  • Answer basic customer questions or direct them to a senior technician or project manager as needed.
• Equipment and Tools Management
  • Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are prepared and available for installation jobs.
  • Clean and maintain tools, materials, and the service vehicle to ensure readiness for future projects.
• Compliance and Safety
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Learn and apply proper handling techniques for HVAC equipment and tools.
• Documentation and Reporting
  • Complete basic documentation for installations, including time logs and checklists, to support project records.
  • Report any issues or delays to the project manager or senior technician promptly.
• Professional Development
  • Participate in on-the-job training and company-provided development programs to build technical skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on more complex tasks as your skills advance.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment (prior experience is a plus but not required).
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills in HVAC installation.
