Forklift Operator​/Delivery Driver

Job Description

America Stone and Cabinet LLC is looking for a dependable and responsible Forklift Operator / Delivery Driver to join our warehouse and delivery team.

This position includes warehouse work, forklift operation, unloading shipping containers, loading and unloading quartz/stone slabs, preparing customer orders, and making local deliveries.

Responsibilities:

* Operate a forklift safely to move quartz slabs, stone materials, and other warehouse products

* Unload shipping containers and assist with container receiving

* Load and unload stone slabs safely using proper equipment and procedures

* Inspect incoming containers and materials for visible damage

* Count and verify received materials against packing lists

* Prepare and verify customer orders before delivery

* Load delivery trucks and properly secure materials

* Make local deliveries to customers and job sites

* Assist with warehouse organization and inventory handling

* Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures when required

* Perform basic daily inspections of forklifts and delivery vehicles

* Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and loading area

* Follow all company safety procedures

Requirements:

* Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

* Forklift operating experience preferred

* Warehouse, container unloading, or delivery experience preferred

* Experience handling stone slabs or building materials is a plus

* Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible

* Must be comfortable working around heavy stone materials

* Must be able to perform physical warehouse work as needed

* Must follow safety procedures at all times

* Must be able to communicate professionally with customers

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed.
