Shared Services Staff Accountant

Green Meadows Partners is conducting an urgent confidential search on behalf of a nationally recognized leader in the manufactured housing and homebuilding industry. Our client is seeking a talented Shared Services Staff Accountant to help support a centralized accounting function serving multiple business units. This role offers excellent exposure to a dynamic, growing organization and is ideal for an accounting professional who values collaboration, process improvement, and operational excellence.

• Perform general ledger activities including account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
• Assist in developing and documenting standardized accounting policies and procedures
• Support data governance and maintain accurate, reliable financial records
• Assist with internal and external audit processes and compliance requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across multiple business units
• Help safeguard company assets and maintain strong financial integrity

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity
• Self‑motivated with a continuous improvement mindset

• 1–3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in shared services, multi‑entity, or corporate accounting environments
• Experience supporting manufacturing, construction, or homebuilding industries
• ERP system experience (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
