Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a PT Accounting Clerk to join our client to support essential accounting workflows that keep payment activity accurate, billing cycles organized, and customer information up to date. This onsite, contract role in Knoxville, TN offers a part?time schedule while contributing to reporting, data entry, customer communication, and system-driven financial tasks using tools such as PAM and Hub Spot.

The clerk will handle recurring weekly and monthly responsibilities that help maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure smooth operational processes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured tasks, precision, and supporting a collaborative accounting team. Compensation:
$21 - $23/hour Work Schedule:
Part-time - three 8?hour days per week Key Responsibilities of the PT Accounting Clerk:

• Maintain accurate customer account data by entering ACH details, verifying pending payments, and supporting routine cash?related updates within PAM.
• Assist with billing workflows by preparing basic invoices, contributing to monthly billing tasks, and overseeing manual disbursement projects.
• Produce recurring weekly reporting, including claims summaries, to support accounting and operational visibility.
• Provide general customer communication and respond to routine inquiries to ensure timely follow?up.
• Support internal teams by managing basic Hub Spot service tickets and assisting with system-driven administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills for the PT Accounting Clerk:

• Experience in accounting support, accounts receivable, billing, administrative finance, or similar roles.
• Comfortable navigating digital tools; familiarity with PAM or Hub Spot is helpful but not required.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage recurring weekly and monthly responsibilities independently.
• Clear communication skills for handling customer interactions and internal coordination.
• Detail-focused work style with a commitment to accuracy and consistent follow?through.
