The Senior Accountant is a key member in the accounting group and is responsible for account reconciliations, month‑end close duties, sales and property tax returns, accounts payable assistance, process improvement, and budget and forecast. The position works closely with finance, maintenance, operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing.

Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000/annual
Job Duties And Responsibilities- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Manage, record, and reconcile fixed assets
- Compile monthly financial statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheet account reconciliations
- Research available guidance to determine proper treatment for accounting transactions
- Monitor general ledger and other accounting records for accuracy and completeness
- Assemble material for annual audit and other compliance projects
- Process payment batches and support accounts payable function as needed
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and policies
- Conduct fluctuation analysis and provide related variance explanations
Prepare multi‑state property and sales tax returns - Support the annual budget and forecasting processes
- Additional tasks, duties and special projects may be assigned, as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience
- CPA preferred
- Knowledge of Workday and Workday Adaptive Planning
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Possess solid knowledge of GAAP
- Thrives in a fast paced and changing environment; leads and controls multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure
- Detailed-oriented
- This is an in‑office based role.
- Normal work schedule: after hours work and/or weekend work may be required periodically.
