Accounting Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Client Accounting Specialist/Sr Accountant to join our CPA firm. If you enjoy working with a variety of clients, solving accounting challenges, and being part of a professional, team-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.

• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and general ledger accounts
• Review monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Assist with sales tax and other quarterly and annual tax filings
• Support year-end closing and tax preparation
• Communicate directly with clients to answer questions and gather information
• Use accounting software such as Quick Books Online and Microsoft Excel

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting (CPA firm experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Must have experience with Quick Books and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred but not required with relevant experience
