Scheduling Coordinator – SYNERGY Home Care

Location: North Knoxville – Callahan Drive Exit
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $20/hour plus commission, negotiable based on experience

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Scheduling Coordinator to join our fast-paced team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating caregiver schedules, maintaining client coverage, and ensuring our clients receive consistent and dependable care.

• Starting pay of $20/hour, negotiable based on experience
• If starting at $20/hour,
  performance and compensation review after 90 days
• Commission structure eligibility after 120 days

• Coordinate and maintain caregiver and client schedules
• Manage a high volume of scheduling needs, changes, call-offs, and coverage requests
• Match caregivers with clients based on availability, location, skills, personality, and client needs
• Communicate schedule changes promptly with caregivers, clients, and office staff
• Maintain accurate caregiver availability, requested time off, vacations, and sick time
• Follow up with newly hired caregivers and explain scheduling expectations and processes
• Build strong professional relationships with caregivers and clients
• Quickly problem-solve scheduling conflicts and last-minute coverage needs
• Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and records
• Work closely with management to achieve staffing, scheduling, and client service goals

After 120 days of employment and completion of training
, this position will participate in one evening of on-call coverage as assigned.

• Previous professional scheduling experience is REQUIRED
• High-volume scheduling experience is strongly preferred
• Home care, healthcare, staffing, or other workforce scheduling experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to manage a fast-paced schedule with frequent changes and competing priorities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Confident problem-solving skills, especially when handling call-offs and last-minute changes
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team

This is not an entry-level scheduling position. We are looking for someone who is already comfortable managing schedules, handling frequent changes, communicating with multiple people, and finding solutions quickly.
