We are seeking a highly skilled, hands‑on Lead Automotive Technician with advanced diagnostic expertise to guide our team and ensure exceptional repair quality and customer satisfaction. $1,500 Sign on Bonus!!!

Job Summary

As the Lead Automotive Technician, you’ll be the shop’s diagnostic leader—the go‑to expert for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues. You’ll perform and oversee accurate diagnostics, lead by example, mentor other technicians, and manage shop operations for maximum efficiency, safety, and top‑notch workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostic testing and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and engine systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and train technicians in diagnostic best practices and repair procedures.
  • Assign and schedule jobs for optimal workflow and resource use.
  • Work with service advisors to prepare precise diagnostic reports and repair estimates.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
  • Stay up to date with new automotive technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.
  • Maintain detailed diagnostic and repair records in our shop management system.
  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with hazardous material handling standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining diagnostic findings and repair work clearly.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with strong diagnostic capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a technician team.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and engine systems.
  • Proficient in using modern diagnostic tools, scanners, and software.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Up‑to‑date on safety protocols and shop regulations.
  • Great communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
